George Kahrhoff, the 2012 PGA Merchandiser of the Year for Private Facilities, is the PGA head professional at the Country Club at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, Colorado.
George joined the Castle Pines Country Club on April 10, 2008. The Country Club at Castle Pines has 415 members is a member owned exclusive private club. George has been widely recognized by the PGA on both the golf and operations side of the business being awarded the Colorado West Chapter Merchandiser of the Year Resort Category in 2005 & 2006, Colorado West Chapter Golf Professional of the Year in 2007. Also in 2006 was awarded the Colorado Section of the PGA Merchandiser of the year for Resort category. George has served on the Colorado West Chapter Board of Directors from 2005-2007 positions held on the Board included President (2 Terms), Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, He also served on the Colorado Section of Board of Directors from 2010-2014. Since arriving at the Country Club at Castle Pines in 2008 he has been recognized as the 2010 Colorado Section Merchandiser of the Year for Private Clubs and in 2012 was honored in his profession as the PGA of America National Merchandiser of the Year for all Private Clubs. George spent 5 years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Cherry Hills Country Club from 1998 to 2003. In October 1999 he and his wife Aimee were married, they have two boys Mitchell and Trey. His interests include skiing, hiking, exercise fitness, small & big game hunting and Nebraska Cornhusker football.
